While there is a raging controversy about the Pakistani players in IPL currently. Some who have expressed the desire to bid and include Pakistani players are talking about the freedom of expression, etc and how what they are saying isn't quite wrong etc...
There is no contrary view to this except the Shiv Sena view being aired by any media. Hence this post. I encourage you to pl. express your opinion...
I was in the vicinity of last 2-3 mumbai suburban blasts and a BEST transport blast. I would also have been close to the 26/11/2008 location if my assignment had been closeby. Pakistan is saying the repeat of 26/11 is eminent and the involvement of Pak govt agency players in 26/11 and earlier attacks is quite a known fact. The ex-ISI chief Hameed Gul last week participated in a terrorist group summit in Muzaffarabad to discuss the anti-india strategy quite openly!
In light of this, I and all Mumbaikars are extremely angree of the Pakistani attitude and if a really clear call to express our feeling against Pakistan is made, WE WILL EXPRESS OUR VOICE!
We are extremely puzzled when Pak expresses anger when pak players are not included in the IPL bidding. Heck, Pak is not ready to take back bodies of it's terrorist citizens yet! And they want to export some more terrorists in future as well. Is there supposed to be no expression of the rejection of the attitude by us? Or the silent mumbaikars are to be taken as the supporters of Shahrukh and the gang?
Let Shahrukh, Salman, Abhishek, Kajol face the risk of getting caught in next attack as I and other Mumbaikars do every day in buses, trains, and other public places and then speak about the freedom of expression and "peace to Pakistan" fundas!
BTW, have any of these peace lovers made any comments during 26/11 or they still prayed for peace with Pak, what about safety of Indians, and Mumbaikars who face more attacks than other places!
